Designing an album cover

Most of you know that I don't only do leather jewellery and craft. I like to do lots of things, I like to create, to design, to touch.... Graphic design, Illustration are one of my other passions. This time I take the chance to talk to you not to show you my latest design but to ask you your support: I've entered a competition for designing and album cover for Jamie Cullum. I wanted to make something bold and direct without any additional useless element. Based in posters of the Art Nouveau period like those of Théophile Alexandre Steinlen like is famous Le Chat Noir,

I try to give a direct message with very little elements and with a strong main image which is the center of the design, bold strong colours.

2013. New year new collection new approach for DORADO. We have been asked to do some leather free items because there are lots of you guys that prefer to use other materials rather than leather. We love to hear what you have to say to us, to suggest and this is what we have done!!!

ON HOLIDAYS BUT ALWAYS WITH YOU

From today DORADO is on holidays. We will have some time off to share with our loved ones, and enjoy this beautiful London in Christmas with its markets, stalls, songs, lights......
However I wanted to say to you that we've appreciated all support and your suggestions.... And I wanted to announce DORADO will launch a leather free earrings collection, but that will be for the next year... And some more more surprises, but I'll let you know when the right time will come.

THE VISIT CARD DORADO by AZAHARA DORADO

Oh!!! The visit card!! We will remember it forever!!! We've gone to the printer already 4 times having to come back home to fix it again!!! In the screen of my mac looks all perfect.... Once we print them out.... Some strange things happen and the images isn't any longer as in the screen was.... Really odd.... They know as already!!! Tomorrow will be the last chance.... Fixed it according to the stamped file instead of the screened one... IT HAS TO WORK THIS TIME!!!

Those are the designs, the first ideas I had for the earrings. Although, quite curious, I haven't done any of those designs yet, something similar maybe..... To be hones, the leather talks by itself and it gets done whatever the leather wants to become to. I love the fact that you can let yourself go, you only do that when you do something that you really enjoy and love doing, and, certainly, this is the case for me: I LOVE DOING EARRINGS!!
